My goal here was to redesign the Home page with different ideas.

Analysis

I first started looking what could be improved? The UI could be improved, but what else? So I started pinpointing some stuff that I think could be improved.

Planning

I've been using this website from last 3 years, still for more information I talked with my friends and my parents. I asked them about their experience while using the website. And from their reviews and experience I started geathering some rough ideas how new UI will look.

After the examination, I've found out that its very hard to find the information which people want from the website. So I decided to arrange the elments and dropdowns according to its specific purpose.

Before making the design I followed a Design Principle to guide my idea.

So I started looking for design inspirations from different University website.

Design

I chose two different colors for two different designs from GTU's logo. The colore I chose were Blue and Red, and added some contrast to them. Here are properties of colors after adding contrast:
